Toward E3 2017, Samsung has introduced new CHG90 and CHG70 curved gaming monitors with High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology to deliver realistic and detailed image details.
The ultra-wide 49-inch C49HG90 monitor features 32: 9 aspect ratio and 3840 × 1080 full HD resolution (DFHD).
The monitor offers an offer of 1.800R curvature, an ultra-wide 178 degree viewing angle, accelerated refresh rate (144Hz), and 1ms motion picture response time (MPRT) with four-channel scanning technology to prevent motion blur and produce more consistent images across the screen .
While the CHG70 series comes in two screen variants, namely 31.5 inches and 27 inches with HDR and quantum dot technology, 144Hz refresh rate, and brightness up to 600nit.
The CHG90 and CHG70 gaming monitors are Samsung’s first ever gaming monitor equipped with the latest Radeon FreeSync 2 technology, which monitors display HDR content with twice the brightness.
For availability, Samsung CHG90 monitors are available on Amazon.com and retail stores priced at $ 1499, where unit shipments begin on 30 June. As for pre-order monitors C32HG70 31.5 inch is available exclusively at Newegg.com for $ 699. Finally, the smallest pre-order C32HG70 27-inch monitor is available on the Samsung.com website for $ 599
