The Apple Mac mini offers the test through its strong performance and low noise operation. Even under full load, it remains astonishingly quiet.

In terms of energy efficiency, the result looks to grow through. Although the computer in retirement needs only 6.3 watts, but under full load the power consumption rises to impressive 48.7 watts.

Its equipment is sufficient with a total of four USB interfaces and 500 GB memory, but even in this price class not outstanding. A clear plus is the preinstalled operating system (OS X 10.10), which is rarely found in mini-PCs.
